What is a cookie?
Cookies are used on nearly all websites across the internet. In many cases, Cookies might be essential for the website to function and display properly. A Cookie is a datafile websites store on the user’s device in order to recognize the user’s device. Cookies can be used, amongst other things, to produce statistics regarding the user’s usage of the website.

A Cookie is a passive file and cannot gather information about the user’s device, spread computer viruses or other harmful software. Two types of Cookies are used on this website:

  • Session-cookies, which are temporary Cookies which are stored in your internet browser’s Cookie-file until you leave the website. The session-cookie also ceases to exist if you do not visit the website for a certain period of time.
  • Persistent Cookies, which are Cookies that remain in your browser’s Cookie-file for a longer period of time. The time period depends on the user generated Cookie-settings.

How do I delete Cookies?
You may always delete Cookies by deleting unwanted Cookies in your internet browser by accessing its settings page.
